Blueprint AI is free. Install it, bring your own AI account, and the chat panel, the terminal, asset authoring and inspection across the whole engine, the bundled API reference and headless mode all work with no subscription and no account with us.

Two features are sold separately: the Project Wiki and Integrations. There are two ways to pay for them — one price for a whole small studio, or one price per person — and both start with a 2-month free trial that needs no payment method.

Blueprint AI

  • The AI chat panel and the built-in terminal, docked in the editor
  • Create, edit and inspect every asset type Unreal Engine can author
  • Auto-layout on every graph the AI touches

Per seat
€9per seat / month
Any company, any size. No revenue threshold. Buy as many seats as you need, on one subscription.
  • Project Wiki — Semantic indexing and retrieval over your project, the graph view, and per-document access control for your team.
  • Integrations — Discovery, connection and agent skills for external tools, so your copilot can act on them from inside the editor.
  • A seat is a person, not a computer and not a project
  • Hand a seat to somebody else without cancelling anything
  • 2-month free trial, no payment method to start
  • Cancel any time, from a portal, without contacting us
  • 14-day money-back guarantee on every charge

Both plans unlock exactly the same two features. They differ only in how they are counted, so the choice is arithmetic and a rule:

The revenue ceiling is the same threshold Epic uses to decide when a company must buy Unreal Subscription seats, so if you already know the answer for Unreal you know it here. It is self-declared: no software can check a company’s revenue, and we would rather ask you plainly than build a check that does not check. You confirm it at the checkout, and it is a term of the licence.

Above that threshold, or simply prefer to count people, the per-seat plan has no eligibility rule at all.

Where the law requires consumer prices to include tax — the EU and the UK among them — the price above is what you pay, with VAT already inside it. Where it does not, notably the United States, sales tax is added at the checkout. Either way Paddle works it out from your address and shows you the total before you pay anything.

Two ways, and they reach the same subscription. What matters either way is that the checkout is never told an account — it is told a signed ticket naming one, so nobody can point your payment at somebody else’s subscription.

  1. Install Blueprint AI — it is free, and needs no account.
  2. Open the Project Wiki or Integrations tab in the panel and sign in. Your free trial starts there, with no card.
  3. When you are ready, choose Subscribe in the panel. It opens the checkout with your account already attached.

On the per-seat plan, a seat is one person, not one computer and not one project. That person can use it on as many of their own machines as they like. A team of five people needs five seats.

Per-person is load-bearing rather than conventional: the Project Wiki can restrict which documents a given role opens, so legal, marketing or other material is visible only to the people it is meant for. A role attaches to a person, so the seat has to as well. Roles decide what somebody sees; they never sub-divide a seat.

If somebody leaves, you can hand their seat to somebody else without cancelling anything — sign them out and the seat is free for the next person.

The Indie Studio plan has no seats to manage: everybody at the company is covered, and nobody has to be signed out to make room.

  • New subscribers get 2 months free.
  • No payment method is required to start. Nothing is held against a contract that may never begin.
  • The trial arrives with your account, the first time you sign in from the editor. There is no form and nothing to fill in.
  • At the end of the trial you choose a plan and are charged its price. You are told before the trial ends, by email and in the editor, and you supply a payment method at that point rather than at the start.
  • Cancel at any point during the trial and you are charged nothing.
  • The trial is once per customer.
  • Whichever plan you choose renews every month until you cancel. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
  • We tell you before each renewal and before the first charge.
  • Paddle.com Market Limited is the merchant of record: it appears on your statement, issues your invoice, and handles VAT and sales tax.
  • Cancel from the customer portal at any time. Cancellation never requires contacting support.
  • Moving between the two plans is a change to your subscription, made in the same portal.

Nothing you have made is deleted. Your Wiki index and the integrations you connected stay on your machine; those two features switch off; the rest of Blueprint AI carries on working exactly as before. Subscribe again and your saved connections come back as they were.

A verified subscription keeps working offline for 7 days past its last successful check (1 day if a payment has failed), and the editor tells you which state you are in. An outage never touches the free parts of the plugin — they make no entitlement check at all.

Every charge is refundable in full for 14 days after it is taken, for any reason — the first one and every renewal alike. That is on top of your statutory rights, not instead of them.

Do I need a subscription to use Blueprint AI? No. Everything except the Project Wiki and Integrations is free and always will be.

Do I still need my own AI account? Yes, and that is separate from this. The panel runs on Claude, which needs a paid Claude plan or an Anthropic API key. We do not resell it and we do not mark it up.

We are a small studio — which plan is cheaper? From 4 people upwards the Indie Studio plan costs less, and it stops mattering how many of you there are. Below that, seats are cheaper. Either way you get the same two features.

Is there a volume discount on seats? Not today. Ten seats cost ten times one seat, and the price is the same whoever you are. The Indie Studio plan is the discount, and it is a rule rather than a negotiation.

What if I stop paying mid-month? You keep access to the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
